Likeness of Being II is a solo tour-de-force by the Mumbai based watercolorist Sujith S. N. The artist, who usually depicts dystopian landscapes without human beings; turned, instead, to the intimacy of the human portrait at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. This precious set of watercolor portraits, from memory, from photographs and from his imagination, form a wonderful document of our times.
The paintings have been virtually framed, as a part of the artists desire to unify the presentation.
